I teach biology at Hamburg Area High School. I love to be in nature by hiking, river floating, gardening, growing all types of
fruits, and flowers. I enjoy sleeping out and especially in the mountains. At
school, I have a Wilderness Club for 33 years in which I hike, ski,
toboggan, rock climb in a building, riverfloat in West Virginia, landscape around the school, hang and place plants in the hallways of the school and have social events. These events are all done on weekends with the students.
I am a widow with two children. My daughter will be a sophomore next year at West Chester University and my son will be a senior at Drexel University.
I live in the mountain on three and half acres. My wife and I build our house completely by ourselves. It took us eight years to complete it with landscaping, garden, fruit trees, jungle gym, and other additions.
I intend to retire in three years to enjoy my desire of traveling. I have seen 48 states, been to Europe twice, Russia, Two cruises, several
Carribean islands, and now want to see the rest of the world.
